As a grad transfer student, Carr came to Louisville after spending just 1 year at Syracuse. Prior to Syracuse, Carr spent her first 3 years at Texas Tech. As a freshman Carr averaged 18.0 ppg, 3.8 apg and 3.6 rpg on her way to earning Big 12 Freshman Of The Year. While at Syracuse, Chrislyn averaged 14.2 ppg, 2.7 apg, 3.2 rpg and 1.3 spg in her only season.
Carr has been a great addition to the Louisville women’s basketball team. She has given the Cards much needed scoring and a veteran ball handler they desperately needed this year. Carr has scored in double figures in 19 of the Cards 30 games and is shooting over 45% from beyond the arc.
Carr has led the Cards in scoring multiple times this year. She scored a season high 21 points vs DePaul. She also set a career high 17 rebounds in the win. The 17 rebounds were the most in program history by any guard. Carr scored 14 points, had season-highs in assists (8), and steals (5) in her return to Syracuse, New York as the Cards came away with a much-needed victory.
