Liz Dixon transferred to Louisville from Georgia Tech after only year in Atlanta. Dixon was an All-ACC Freshman at Georgia Tech and started all 30 games for the Yellow Jackets. The former McDonald’s All-American averaged 11.0 ppg and 6.4 rpg and led her team in scoring and rebounding multiple times.
Recently, Dixon became the latest member of the 1,000 point club at Louisville. Dixon has had a very good career with the Cards. It’s almost like she came in as a freshman, but her career isn’t over yet. Card Nation has seen the growth and maturation of Liz Dixon the person and not just the basketball player. Dixon could’ve came into Louisville after her freshman season and demanded she be one of the focal points of the Cards offense, but she came in and worked her tail off all while putting the team goals first.

This season Liz has started 18 games, but has recently been a key reserve in the Cards resurgence and 6-1 in the last 7 games. Dixon has had back to back double-doubles heading into the Senior Day match-up against Notre Dame. Dixon scored a season-high 16 points in a win over the blue school up the road. She had herself quite a performance on Feb 19th vs Boston College as she had season-highs in rebounds (12), blocks (3), and steals (1).

Dixon has accumulated 1,043 points, 138 blocks, and 682 rebounds heading into Senior Day.
