As a grad transfer student, Morgan Jones came to Louisville after spending 4 years in Tallahassee as a Florida State Seminole. For her career, Jones averaged 8.9 ppg and 4.6 rpg. As a senior, she averaged 13.8 ppg and 5.6 rpg on her way to earning All-ACC First Team honors and was a match-up nightmare for the Cards.
Jones was brought in to help ease the loss of scoring left by the departing players. Jones has filled in admirably in the scoring department. She’s scored in double figures in 13 games and was a basket away from double digits in 8 other games.
Morgan Jones had season-highs in points (25) and rebounds (10) on her return trip to Tallahassee as the Cards got a much needed road victory after losing to Virginia Tech on the road. Jones also recorded her season-high in blocks (4) vs the blue folks up the road. When the Cards faced off against SIUE, Jones had a career high 8 steals in a Louisville victory.
