There is no way around it, losing a home exhibition game to a D-II opponent is a huge bummer for a program like Louisville. Especially coming off a four win season, you would hope that things would be looking better by now. The Cards were outplayed on almost every level Monday. A couple individual performances aside, it is hard to take any positives from this one. This is the second straight season that Louisville has struggled out the gate. You hope that things will be different this year, but after this loss the team has to prove that they are capable winnings games. The bar is awfully low, but there is plenty of time to turn things around with the regular season starting next week.
