Cards Land 5 Star Guard Imari Berry

Just when they thought it was safe to come out, Coach Walz and his staff went and did it again. Coach Walz and staff just added yet another freshman to their already stellar 2024 class. Imari Berry just pledged her commitment to the University of Louisville.

Berry is a 5’10, 5 star guard out of Clarksville (TN). She is ranked the 13th-overall player in the 2024 class per ESPNW HOOPGURLZ, and 39th-overall per PROSPECTNATION.COM. Imari is the top ranked player in the state of Tennessee. 

The TSSAA 4A Miss Basketball 2024 is a 3-time Miss Basketball Finalist and a 2024 McDonald’s All-American. Berry averaged 23.8 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.8 apg, and over 4 spg as a senior at Clarksville (TN), while leading her squad to a 31-1 record. Imani scored over 2,500 points in her high school career which set the record for her school. 

Before committing to Clemson in November, Berry had offers from just about every school in Power 5, including: UConn, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Louisville. 

With the signing of Imari Berry, the Cards now have 3 players ranked in top 25 in the 2024 recruiting class. Berry joins fellow freshman: Tajianna Avant-Roberts, Anaya Hardy, Isla Juffermans, and Sierra Canyon teammates Mackenly Randolph and Izela Arenas, along with incoming transfer Ja’Leah Williams who committed earlier in the week.
