Johnson has spent both of his collegiate seasons Washington and was named Pac-12 6MOY this season. Former 4⭐️ recruit.

Johnson is the reigning Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year and is coming off a season where he averaged 11.1 points (44.1 FG%, 37.3 3PT%), 2.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
The incoming junior blasted onto the scene in the final month of the season, where he averaged 18.7 points on 50% shooting from the field and 3-point range.
Despite not being the primary ball-handler, the Seattle guard is capable of working the pick & roll and creating scoring opportunities for both himself and his teammates.
Johnson is an absolute pest on the defensive side of the ball, averaging 1.2 steals per game. Even though he’s just 6-2/175 lbs, his long arms and outstanding quickness allow him to wall up and defend the ball among the best in the country.
In a game against No. 4 Arizona this past season, Johnson would come off the bench and drop 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.
His best outing would come in another game in which he would come off the bench against Stanford where he poured in 30 points (12/18 FG, 6/10 3PT), 4 assists and 3 steals.
Koren Johnson becomes a foundational piece of Pat Kelsey’s roster, carrying two more years of eligibility along with College of Charleston transfer big man James Scott.
Three other transfers in Terrence Edwards, J’Vonne Hadley and Reyne Smith are entering their final year of eligibility while Aly Khalifa is redshirting this coming season to save his final year.
