Women’s Soccer (5-2-2):
The Cardinals women’s soccer team unfortunately continued their losing streak with falling to Pittsburgh 3-1. Brooke Dardano scored the only goal for the Cardinals. Kailey Kimball led the Cardinals with 9 saves which was most for the Cardinals all season.
Up Next: Cardinals will travel to Blacksburg, Virginia to face Virginia Tech on Thursday night before returning home on Sunday for a match with NC State.
#9 Field Hockey (3-3):
The field hockey team hosted #1 Northwestern for the first time. The #9 Cardinals couldn’t score against the #1 Northwestern as they fell 2-0 . The Cardinals couldn’t connect on their six shots. The Cardinals then turned around and hosted Cornell on Sunday. They bounced back with a win over Pennsylvania 4-3. The Cardinals had 4 different players score for them. Cornell outshot the Cardinals 16-12 but Cardinals were able to defeat the Big Red.
Up Next: The Cardinals host Stanford on Friday at 4pm and then travel to Muncie, Indiana to Ball State on Sunday.
