Getting To Know 2027 Guard Tyrone Jamison

Sunday, the announcement was made that 2027 Top 15 Player Tyrone Jamison was on campus for a visit. Tyrone is listed as the top guard in 2027 class. He is 6’2 & from Shreveport, Louisiana. He got the offer from Coach Ronnie Hamilton & Coach Kelsey back in May.

This was his first unofficial visit to the University of Louisville. Higgy caught up the with Tyrone to get to know him and see how his visit to the University of Louisville went.

Higgy: Who would you say you model your game after?

Tyrone: I would say I model my game after Boogie Fland and Rob Dillingham. The way they move and get to their spots, I see similarities in my game.

Higgy: What were you thinking when you received the Louisville Offer from Coach Hamilton & Coach Kelsey?

Tyrone: When I received the offer I was very happy to get my first ACC offer. Louisville is a great program and they had a lot of good players come through.

Higgy: What did you know about the University of Louisville before the offer?

Tyrone: I did a lil research on the guards that came from Louisville fasho to see the guys they developed.

Higgy: How was the visit?

Tyrone: The visit was very good the coaches and players showed a lot of love and the fans and the campus was very beautiful so I will definitely be back on a official.

Higgy: How would you describe your relationship with Assistant Coach Ronnie Hamilton & Coach Kelsey?

Tyrone: I have a very good relationship with coach Ronnie. He’s been recruiting me since 8th grade so we have a good relationship. We talk a lot and me and coach Kelsey’s relationship is good. He’s been coming after me hard ever since he got the job. I finally got to meet him in person and he had great energy. He’s definitely a coach I would want to play for.

Higgy: How did you feel after your visit?

Tyrone: They definitely want me here I feel like I can bring a lot to this program they would definitely get a dawg!

Tyrone is a great young man. He would flourish in Pat Kelsey’s offense. I believe he can move his way into the top 5 players in his class before it’s time for commitments.
