Cards Weather The Storm (Highlights & Pressers Included)

The Cards went into battle today against Miami under a familiar theme. Down a player, heavily favored, & highly emotional. Set to honor the 05 Final Four team & wonders of surprises filled the air. At the end of the day, the Cards were gonna have a fight on their hands today.

Louisville showed what we all saw in them today as they defeated Miami 88-78. Fatt had the best game of his Cardinal career as he went for 27 points, 10 assists, & 5 rebounds. The Reyne-maker added 26 off of 6 three-point baskets & a 4-point play after a made 3, foul, & trip to the free throw line.

J’vonne added 12 points & 7 boards, Khani had 9 points & 6 rebounds, Booby had 8 rebounds & James Scott left the game with about tooth-hurty remaining in the first half. I’m sorry. Awful joke.

The Cards looked good for a majority of the game, but the little things we’ve talked about on the pod still creep in and out every game. Got to get those fixed and I have no doubt we will.

It was really good to hear from Coach P as well. As mad as most are at him, you can’t deny he brought us back to relevance and for that I’m grateful. The Cards next face NC State at 7 pm Wednesday in Raliegh on ESPN2.
