Chucky & TE2 both have 4 assists & Chucky once again leads with 4 steals. In summation Chucky’s line was 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists & 4 steals. Sheesh
Cards battle back & forth with Stanford the first 5 minutes of the game. 7-5 Cards. Cards have neutralized Reynaud so far. Boogie with back to back layups, or a pair of you will. 13-0 run capped off by TE2. 15-8 Cards.
The next 5 minutes go as little better for the Cards Offensively, they go on an overall 11-5 run after a TE2 and one. Waterman will be Waterman.
Chucky with the 2 free throws & the sweet floater & hes in double digits with 7 minutes left in the first half.
Great Rebounding day. Another 9-0 run by the Ville takes the score to 29-11 with 4:30 left. Gotta maintain the big lead, one of the very few weaknesses of Louisville. Good half of basketball so far though. Cards playing hard.

The Cards pay furious defense down the stretch & take a 15 point lead into halftime. Holds Stanford to their season low at the half with 18. Cards held to 2-12 shooting from 3.
Reynaud was not a factor offensively in the first half but has 1,472 blocks so far…..& 7 rebounds off of those blocks.
The Cards amp up the intensity after the half defensively. They go on a Reynaud must have heard me because he gets 5 quick points in the first 4 minutes of the second half. Cards lead trimmed to 35-23 heading to the under 16 media break.
5 more quick points from Reynaud cuts the Cardinals lead to 9. The Cards have got to start playing better defense. Letting people blow by them is not ideal. A once 18 point lead is now down to 8 with 13 minutes left in the game. Great.
A Fatt 3 pointer followed by another Waterman 3 paid the Cards lead back up to 16. What a team. Louisville starts to run the full court press to wear out Stanford’s big men. Looks like it worked. Brilliance by Kelsey.
Stanford cuts the lead down to 10 again. Aggravating. It stays around 10 for the next 4-5 minutes. Vonne gets a key and 1 with 4 minutes left in the game but misses the free throw. Cards by 12. 3 Cards now in double figures. Noah just 2 points away from being number 4.
Another Chuck to Bain alley oop gives Louisville a 61-47 lead with just 2:06 remaining in the game. That could have been the dagger and it was. The Cards win 68-48 after a Cole Sherman three & make history on Senior night!
Chucky kisses the floor & her come the feels. Thank you Seniors!
