Terrence Edwards scores 21, Hadley adds 20 & Hadley has 9 rebs and TE2 8 & Booby 7 of them as the Cards earn their first ever trip to the ACC title game 76-73. Hepburn & Waterman also got into double figures with 11 & 10 respectively. The Cards put on a clinic defensively and maneuvered through some tough foul issues in the second half. The schools best teamy team ever showed why.
Cards looked a little discombobulated at the beginning. Cards are down 9-4 5 minutes in. The refs are not calling anything either way and that should play into the Cards advantage. Booby with good plays on both ends and a finger roll makes it 11-8 Clemson. A 4-0 run however by the grown up baby cupid gives Clemson a 15-8 lead with 12:41 left in the first half. They are not calling any fouls on Clemson at all. The Cards finally stop the baby head from the waterboy and that leads to a J’vonne Hadley put back.
A Cardinal flurry on both ends leads the Cards a 18-17 lead with 8 minutes left. they get a bucket right back but its Chucky time as he hits a big 3 to give the Cards a 21-19 lead. Time to build on it as they force a turnover on the ensuing possession.
We do not build on it and the game is going back & forth as they are tied at 23 with 4:08 remaining in the half. The Cards seem to be doing a lot right but they just cant hit shots consistently tonight. Booby has hustled his behind off and has 6 rebounds in the first half so far. Cards seem to figure out the problem & go on a 5-0 run to end the first half. 33-28 Cards. They have now led in every ACC match-up this season except yesterday. boo.

Hadley comes down with an and 1 that sends the bench onto a frenzy. Cards up 43-34. Cards on a 14-6 run to start the second half. extends the lead to 47-34. Clemson tries to make the game more physical and it plays in our favor.
Clemson scores their first bucket in nearly 7 minutes as the Gerber baby scores to make it 47-36. James Scott gets his 4th foul with 9:24 remaining. Cards lead 53-43. They Cards battle back & forth with Clemson for the next 4 minutes. It’s 62-49 with 5:29 left. Chase Hunter hits a deeeeeep 3 to cut the lead to 10. Quick 5-0 run however pushes it out to the largest lead of the evening for Louisville at 67-52. Cards putting on a masterclass in defense tonight. Cards also shoot great from the stripe hitting 22-27. Clemson chops the lead down to 10 with 2 minutes remaining. We cannot let off the gas. No repeat of yesterday. But wait, Clemson may have a say in this. The lead is now 6 with 1:17 left in the game. Just have to hit our free throws. The Cardinal lead is now 2 with 27 seconds left & our possession. Lord help us. I cannot take this 2 nights in a row. Looks like I have no choice. We are down to the last possession of regulation. Clemson ball. 22 seconds. We just need one stop. We got it! Clutch block by Scott! Chucky heads to the line for 2. hits one. Cards up by 3 & they win 76-73!
