Welcome to this week’s edition of Ones to Watch. I will show you the statistical leaders on the team, talk to you about some things I observed on film, & whatever else catches my eye. On the ground, Marcellous Hawkins (85 rushes for 531 yds & 1 TD), (113 rushes for 414 yds & 7 TD) & QB Kyron Drones (55 for 373 yds) make up for 1318 out of the teams total 1474 yards on the ground.
Their defense has only forced 8 turnovers this season. They have sacked the opposing QB 17 times this season. Va Tech has given up 29 TD’s this season. Their leading tacklers are LB Kaleb Spencer (42), DB LB Caleb Wilson (34), & LB Jaden Keller (32). They allow over 367 yards per game in total Offense. Opponents have got into the red zone 32 times & scored 23 of them.
