The 2025 Battle of the Bluegrass was one to remember. These two teams need to be great to make this the greatest rivalry in college basketball. But lately, the Cards haven’t been holding up their end of the rivalry. I know people have differing opinions on this but I prefer this game to be between two top 10 teams every year. If not, ESPN will cram Duke vs North Carolina down our throats and bill it as the best college rivalry game.
Not only was this game one that started to put more balance back into the rivalry, it was basically the introduction of one Mikel Brown Jr. to the country.
