Zamareya is great lead guard. She can get her own shot off at any time. She has great court vision and can make almost any pass she needs to if the defense pays too much attention to her. Jones will bring an extra weapon to the Cards offensive attack with her ability to hit the open shot behind the arc. She will force defenses to stay at home, which will open up driving lanes for other players, or give post players room to operate. The explosive guard, paired with Taj, can be one of the best backcourts in the ACC.

This marks the second straight year coach Walz went to Raleigh, North Carolina to better the Louisville basketball team. Last year Coach Walz went and got Coach Morris last year, and now Jones to help bolster the Louisville backcourt. Coach Morris was a part of the staff that recruited Jones to NC State. Now both Coach Morris and Jones are reunited, this time in Louisville.
