There is always confusion on what channel the game is on if it isn’t on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. When they say “regional sports network affiliates” it just raises questions. So here is where you can catch the Cards against Houston on Saturday at noon. Along with ESPN3, the game will be shown on…

COACH PETRINO: We’re coming off a tough loss at Auburn where we kind of gave some opportunities away in the first half where we could have got points on the board offensively, then gave them seven points. I thought overall defensively, we played well with the exception of the first series of the third quarter….
I didn’t expect to get an e-mail from Kenny Klein today that had the words “lactation locations” in it, but it must just be a wacky Wednesday here in the ‘Ville! Here is the release from UofL about what is new at PJCS for 2015: Aside from the construction project at the south end of…
We know that these polls don’t mean a whole lot now that there is a playoff. But like it or not, they are still a measuring stick on where your team is viewed nationally. Louisville is still receiving votes in both polls. Take care of business on the field over these next couple of weeks,…
It has taken a couple days, but I am finally able to sit down and write about this past weekend. It didn’t feel right moving on to the Houston game without recapping how this trip went. There was the game, the radio show at an awesome tailgate, actually going to Auburn, Alabama right after the…
Louisville junior Josh Harvey-Clemons made a big impact in his first game as a Cardinal on Saturday, intercepting two passes and adding on 14 tackles against Auburn. His performance earned him the accolade of ACC Defensive Back of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Bobby Petrino says he has his QB for Saturday, but obviously won’t say who, and I love that. So who do YOU think it will be that starts? For all we know, the starter may play one play, one series, one half. Who knows? May play the whole game and never come out! The fifth…
This has made its way into the twitter world, but not on here, which is important. This Saturday, we will be bringing you Cardinal Sports Zone on 93.9 The Ville from 10 a.m. to noon. A full two hours! And even better, we will be broadcasting live from Atlanta, Georgia! We also just learned yesterday…
Let’s get one thing clear right out of the gate: I am a Louisville fan and want the Cards to win on Saturday, no questions asked. If Auburn wins, yes I will be bummed just like if it were any loss. There is no part of me that is torn on that matter for this…
If you are heading to Atlanta this weekend for the Auburn game (IT’S SO CLOSE NOW!), you may be wondering where you should tailgate. Look no further, because you know you probably want to be apart of the Red Rage Tailgate. But maybe it isn’t for you. I mean it is basically a museum of…
Well I knew it was going to be a packed show, and it was just that! Marques Maybin joined us in studio, which was a treat in itself. We talked about stadium expansion and got into an impromptu debate over which game is more important for the Cards…Auburn or Clemson? Also, the guys from Red…
I will be heading out soon to head to the 93.9 The Ville studios on the beautiful campus of UofL. If you weren’t aware yet, we have our own radio show on Saturday mornings from 10-11. Steve Rummage is your host, I am in the house every week throwing in my two cents, Jeremy Wahman…
The Louisville Cardinals will begin the 2015 college football season unranked, and that is just fine by me. Gone are the days where we would look at the schedule and maybe see one ranked opponent that we just absolutely HAD to beat to have any good wins. Now in the ACC, and with a pretty…
On today’s show, we talked about who we would each WANT as the starting QB for Louisville this season. Not who we think it will be, but our preference. I give a terrible answer, but pick somebody in the end. Perrin Johnson joined us, which was a treat. We had our most callers we have…
I know it is late in the day but I had to share some Friday things with you guys and I just got control of the computer from the wife (she takes her RN test again tomorrow, wish her luck). You know what they say, if first you don’t succeed, please pass this time because it is…
According to Scout.com, quarterback Tyler Ferguson will be transferring from the University of Louisville. Ferguson is the former Penn State QB that transferred to Louisville, sat out last season, and was eligible to play this season. At 6’4 and 225 lbs, and with a big arm, Ferguson has great size for the position.
Things are really beginning to heat up in UofL sports and we squeeze all of it that we can into our 1-hour show on 93.9 The Ville! If you missed it today, you can click the soundcloud link below and check it out. We spent about half the time on basketball and half on football….
From the University of Louisville: Celebrating the start of another athletic season, the University of Louisville will host its annual Fan Day event on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Cardinal Arena on the Belknap Campus from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Student-athletes from various UofL teams will be in attendance, including head football coach Bobby Petrino…
There should definitely be more use of UofL’s Youtube channel when it comes to stuff like this.
About a week and a half ago, I was told that there was going to be some news coming out soon about Auburn’s best wide receiver, 6’2 senior Duke Williams. Now that it is starting to get out, I can go ahead and pass along what others are saying. Williams practiced the first three days…
