Cards have 3 selected in MLS SuperDraft

On Thursday afternoon, the MLS held its SuperDraft in Indianapolis, IN. There are 2 rounds, and only 38 picks, and the Louisville Cardinals had 3 former players selected! They had the 1st and last pick, and 1 in between!
Cardinal news and notes: weekend review

Another weekend has passed and the University of Louisville football team is still undefeated. The Cardinals (6-0) traveled to Pittsburgh (2-4) this past weekend to take on the Panthers in their Big East conference opener. Prior to Saturday’s game, Louisville was 1-6 in their conference opening games since joining the Big East, this coupled with a 11 a.m. kickoff had some fans nervous as the Cardinals looked to improve to 6-0 for the first time since 2006. Men’s Soccer: Cards beat Lipscomb 4-0 in final exhibition match
On Monday night, the 7th ranked UofL men’s soccer team finished off their exhibition schedule by defeating Lipscomb by a score of 4-0. It was their first game at Cardinal Park this season, and they did not disappoint. The Cards finished the preseason 3-0, and will open the regular season this Sunday at Maryland.

Men’s Soccer: Video and Pictures from Media Day 2012
The Louisville Cardinals held their Media Day for men’s soccer on Thursday afternoon at Cardinal Park. The Cards are ranked #7 in the nation to start the season. They have their first exhibition match on Sunday at UAB.
