The University of Louisville has received a supply of tickets for its appearance in the 2012 NCAA Final Four at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, La.
Season ticket holders who submitted NCAA post-season ticket requests online for the Final Four will contacted by via email on Saturday with details on purchasing their seats. Those season ticket holders will be notified later where the tickets will be available for pickup.
U of L will accept additional ticket requests on a waiting list by calling (502) 852-5151 or (502) 852-5863 from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, or Monday starting at 9 a.m. Anthony Travel can assist Cardinal fans immediately with travel plans by calling 866-833-3386, or through its web site at www.anthonytravel.com.
All Final Four tickets, priced at $270 each, will be sold through the UofL ticket office and will be directly tied to travel packages. For every two tickets purchased, fans must purchase one room at the team hotel in New Orleans. Once a travel package is purchased through Anthony Travel, fans will be notified by the UofL ticket office regarding tickets eligible to purchase. Travel packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A special $25 student ticket will also be available through the NCAA exclusively for University of Louisville students. UofL students will be contacted via email with a deadline of Tuesday, March 27 to respond.
The No. 4-seeded Cardinals will face either Kentucky or Baylor in the national semifinals on Saturday, March 31. The national championship game is played on Monday, April 2, at 9:23 p.m. ET.
