3* WR Alex Montgomery (FL) will visit Louisville this weekend. At 6’1 180 lbs Montgomery is is a big physical receiver who has played some WR and TE for his HS team. In the 8-A Florida state Championship game Montgomery had 9 catches for 199 yards and 3 TD’s. To give you an idea on the versatility of Montgomery according to Rivals Montgomery is the 51 best WR in the nation and according to ESPN he is the 11th best TE. Montgomery has a slew of big offers from schools such as: Louisville, Rutgers, NC St, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Uk and Duke. It seems as though Taj Williams is now off Louisville’s radar and as of now Montgomery looks to be the only recruit on campus this weekend and could end up being a major late steal for Strong and company.
