The Cards brought the bats out today while defeating the 3 seed Oklahoma State Cowboys 12-3. Coco Johnson led the charge with 3 RBI. The Cards excelled today under pressure by scoring 9 runs with two outs. The Cards went 3-0 this weekend and await the winner of the Nashville Regional. The Cards go to 3-1 all time against OSU in the postseason including a 2-1 series win against them in the 07 regional which sparked the Cards first CWS appearance. The Cards projected opponent in Nashville is the #1 team in the country and #2 seed in the tourney. Vandy came to the Jim earlier this season and beat the Cards 10-2. This is the Cards third Super Regional appearance and first since 07. The Cards lone CWS appearance included wins vs both Miami and a clinching 20-2 win vs OSU in the Super Regional at Jim Patterson Stadium.
