4 star Defensive Back favors the Cards!

Kendall Randolph

According to this article from goupstate.com, 2014 defensive back Kendall Randolph, from Tallahassee, Florida, has a top 3 of Louisville, Miami, and South Carolina. Randolph is a 4 star prospect on Rivals.com. They rank him as the 11th best cornerback in the state of Florida and the 20th best player overall in the state!

Randolph says that he wants to commit in early September, and adds that “If I were to commit today, it would be Louisville…I just feel good about the coaches and the relationships I’ve built (with Louisville),” he said. “I think it’s a place that I can go and make an early impact.”

Louisville is clearly the team to beat for Randolph. He says that South Carolina is only taking 2 cornerbacks in their class. They already have 1, and are apparently more focused on another guy, who would be their second. Randolph said that they are still on his list because they were the first to offer and have kept recruiting him. That doesn’t sound like South Carolina is a big threat in this race.

Randolph is 5’11 and 175 lbs. He holds offers from some impressive schools: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina, Miami, Kentucky, Tennessee, Stanford, Michigan State, Ole Miss, and many more.

Another interesting note about Randolph: he plays for Lincoln High School, the same school where current freshman James Hearns played. This is certainly one to keep your eye on in the next few weeks.
