We now know what two more football Cards plan to do for next season. DeVante Parker will return to UofL, and Damian Copeland will enter the 2014 NFL Draft.
Parker tweeted this earlier this afternoon, confirming what most of us suspected, that he would come back. He finished this season with 55 receptions for 885 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 12 touchdowns tied Ibn Green (1998) for the most receiving touchdowns in a season in UofL history.
I will be coming back for another year.

Damian Copeland, who was granted a 6th year of eligibility and could have come back, has decided to pursue his dream by heading to the pros. The Courier-Cournal’s Adam Himmelsbach was told by Copeland’s mom about her son’s plans. “We sat down as a family and just talked about it, and he said he’s ready,” Angela Copeland said. “He said he feels like his time is here, and he’s ready to chase his dream.”
