Three weeks ago I posted this story saying that it looked like defensive tackle Jamaine Brooks would not be on the team this season. Today, Brooks tweeted that it is official that he will not be playing. He will graduate in June of 2014 and move on to whatever comes next in his life.

I thought Brooks could have a great season in 2014 being that big man in the middle of the 3-4 defense. At 6’4 and 330 pounds, he certainly seemed to be made for that. Now we will see who steps in to fill that important role on the defensive line.
