A 5-star point guard from Newark, New Jersey has named his final 7 schools, and the Louisville Cardinals are in that mix. Isaiah Briscoe, listed at 6’3 and 215 lbs, is the 3rd best point guard in the country according to 247sports. Rivals lists him as the 19th best player overall in the class of 2015.
This is the scouting report on Briscoe from Eric Bossi on Rivals.com: One of the most explosive scorers in the class of 2015. He can play at either the point or the two and is a big and strong backcourt player. At times his shot selection is poor which hurts his percentages some, but he is a skilled scorer who can shoot from deep or attack off the dribble.
His final seven are St. John’s, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Arizona, UConn, Pittsburgh, and Louisville. There is no timetable for Briscoe to make his decision.
