Multiple media outlets have confirmed that linebacker signee Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammad will not be at the University of Louisville this fall. Bobby Petrino and staff have decided to not take the (likely) public relations hit with this one, as Rhaheed-Muhammad has had his share of off-the-field issues for sure.

Rhaheed-Muhammad's HS coach is now waiting to hear back from #UofL CBs coach Terrell Buckley, the T-Coast-area recruiter for #UofL.

This isn’t too surprising at all. Even though less than two weeks ago, Petrino said that Rhaheed-Muhammad could likely still end up at UofL, you had to know there was the chance that they could change their minds on this situation.
At the end of the day, this is probably best for all parties involved and we can all move on now.
