When NC State takes the field on Saturday against the Louisville Cardinals, they will do so without 7 players who were just suspended because of a BB gun incident. Two of the seven are starters on defense (Fernandez and Jones). Here are the rest of the players and their stats this season…

S Josh Jones – 38 tackles (28 solo) with 1 sack and 1 INT
WR Jonathan Alston – 14 receptions for 131 yards and 1 touchdown
WR Jumichael Ramos – 1 reception for 7 yards
DT Justin Jones – 5 tackles
CB Mike Stevens – 2 tackles
DE Pharoah McKever – 2 tackles
“These are good young men who made a mistake in not recognizing that this activity could have resulted in someone being injured,” coach Dave Doeren said in a statement. “We have discussed this with them and they understand that they are being held responsible for their actions. The information was referred to the university’s office of student conduct as well. Our players admitted their mistake and we will help them learn from it.”
