WDRB’s Eric Crawford has confirmed that sophomore forward Akoy Agau will transfer from the University of Louisville.
News on the #UofL front: sophomore Akoy Agau is transfering from the program.

There is no word yet on where he intends to go. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise. Agau wants playing time–and who doesn’t–and it just wasn’t going to happen for him here. He found himself as the odd man out in a frontcourt that includes Montrezl Harrell, Mangok Mathiang, Chinanu Onuaku, Jaylen Johnson, and now Anas Mahmoud.
He scored 17 points as a freshman, grabbed 21 rebounds, and had 5 blocks. He has only seen action in 3 games this season, totaling 11 minutes.
Good luck to Akoy wherever he ends up, and thanks for the work that he did put in while a Louisville Cardinal.
