Cards Still the Favorite for Dahu Green?

Back in December, wide receiver Dahu Green opened up his recruitment after being committed to the Louisville Cardinals since June. Usually when that happens, the player does not end up committing to that school for a second time. But that may not be the case for Dahu Green.

According to this article on newsok.com, Louisville could still be in the driver’s seat with Green.

For now, Louisville appears to still be the favorite to land Green, with Indiana — where he is expected to take an official visit this weekend — Washington State and Boise State remaining in the hunt.

One of the top priorities for Green is landing with a school where he can compete for playing time immediately, something Gaylor says he’s capable of doing at most places.

“His skill set is going to help him become a successful player going forward, but his competitive desire is what I think is going to set him apart,” Gaylor said. “He’s such a competitive kid who wants to go against the best and wants to be a great player. He’s not going to shy away and that gives him a chance to be good as soon as he gets to college.”

What is interesting to me is that Oklahoma is not on that list. So the Cards have to compete with Indiana, Washington State, and Boise State? I mean you just never know with recruiting, but I like the chances of Bobby Petrino and Louisville getting Green again. The 6’4 wide receiver would come in and try to fill a big void left by DeVante Parker if he does commit again. This one will be interesting to watch for.
