It appears that Louisville’s defensive coordinator, Todd Grantham, is the favorite to get the same job with the Oakland Raiders.

With National Signing Day just over a week away, this couldn’t come at a worse time for the Cardinals if it happens. As it stands right now, Louisville has 24 commits, and 7 of those have already signed. Of the 17 not signed, 8 are on defense. They are:
Sheldrick Redwine – Defensive Back
Darius Smith – Defensive Back/Outside Linebacker
Amonte Caban – Linebacker
G.G. Robinson – Defensive End
Khane Pass – Safety
Tim Bonner – Outside Linebacker/Defensive End
Aaron Cochran – Defensive End/Tight End
Jonathan Greenard – Outside Linebacker/Defensive End
If Grantham does leave, it will be interesting to see which of those commits would end up elsewhere. Regardless of if he stays or goes, I have never been 100% sold that Redwine and Robinson were coming here anyway. So if those two went somewhere else, I wouldn’t be shocked one bit. Hopefully the Cards could hang on to the others, especially Khane Pass and Amonte Caban.
