- It was announced that Russ Smith now has a guaranteed contract. Great news for fans of Russdiculous worldwide.
- Terry Rozier signed a max rookie deal that was also for a 5 year time frame according to yahoo sports
- Rick Pitino informed us that Francisco Garcia will take another run at the NBA
- I met Montrezl Harrell this past Sunday at Griffs. The man is enormous and that is coming from an enormous man himself. No doubt that he will succeed and was so kind to take a picture with my wife. She was pumped. there could not have been any better news for me than running into him there.
- Oh yeah, sorry Teddy. Labor day week just got a whole lot bigger for those of us in CardNation. We have the Auburn game on Saturday. Jawon Pass will be slinging the football on Friday night. Now it has been announced that Teddy Bridgewater and his Vikings will be in Nashville to face the Titans. Make a big red weekend out of it guys!

- It was announced by the Dolphins today that WR Kai De La Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuz was signed. Congrats to him

Also announced today, per Jonathan Linter, Dolphins rookie Devante Parker is making the most money off of endorsements of all rookies. Great news. Not so great news coming out today was that DP was placed on the PUP list but it is expected for him to be ok for game one.

Men’s Basketball’s long awaited trip to Puerto Rico is coming up. Here are some details:
- August 10-17
- They will play national teams from the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico
- They will play 9 games in 6 days in 5 different arenas
- They began practice this week
