One of the nation’s top point guards in the class of 2016 is on UofL’s campus this weekend, and he has Louisville’s only commit with him. De’Aaron Fox, a five-star point guard on all four major recruiting sites, is taking an official visit this weekend while Cards’ commit V.J. King is here on an unofficial visit. It is believed that King is here on an unofficial because Fox asked that he be on campus when he is.
Fox visited LSU last weekend and still has officials scheduled for Kansas (Oct. 9) and Kentucky (Oct. 16). He is 6’4 from Katy, Texas. His lowest national ranking is from ESPN, where he is rated the 7th best player overall in the class. So needless to say, Fox is a heck of a player. Here’s to hoping V.J. King puts on his recruiting hat and at least makes Fox think about some things after this weekend.
