Today was a very weird day. Scandal brought back up. New “Facts” come out. The logical next step was Louisville Basketball gets a commitment from Frankie Hughes, right? The 6’3 Guard picked the Cards over Wisconsin. He also had offers from FSU, Wichita St and the entire M.A.C. (almost). Why pick UL with the scandal going on?
This is what he told Cleveland.com’s
“Coach Pitino, he’s got a lot of history. He’s like a legend,” Hughes said. “When they came up here, I performed well. They stayed on me hard, and like I said, they always kept it honest with me. That’s why I chose them.
“They run a championship program. They practice two times a day. Not many colleges do that. Coach (Pitino) stays on them real hard.”

Also a great observation by Mr. Cassilo here:
Based on the response I'm getting, by committing today with everything else going on, Frankie Hughes is already a Louisville fan favorite
