Of course after the title of the story I am going to serve you this picture first. I was there and still feel chills every time I watch the game. I have been watching it a lot lately. I digress.. I just wanted to do something to help you through the tournament season. How will you handle it? Some people just aren’t gonna watch. Others like Steve will be in full SeaWolves gear tonight trying to talk me into chest bumping every basket. I got up this morning very aware that we weren’t in the tournament so I started to think of some happy times to ease the pain.

I was looking through some old stuff I had written and another moment gave me tingles in the same way. It was the first year my childhood best friend, Terrance Farley, played for Louisville, 2005. It wasn’t the LARRY, LARRY, LARRY game which was awesome to be in attendance for. (Fun Fact: My brother started the Larry Chant) It wasn’t even the WVU Elite 8 game which I must admit was close. It was the following:

Am I evil? Maybe but that it what gave us the momentum to go on our first Final Four run since I was a child. I always joked with T that all U of L needed was a Farley on the team to break the drought and sure enough it did. I hope in all of the evil you found a way to smile from this. Here is the WVU highlights from that year and a few other things to help you through the day.
