WEEKEND SCHEDULE

3-25 vs N.C. State  2:00  at Ulmer Stadium

3-25 vs. N.C. State 4:00 at Ulmer Stadium

3-26 vs. N.C. State Noon at Ulmer Stadium

 The lady Cards try to avenge their 3- 2 loss to N.C. State in the quarterfinals of the 2015 ACC championship. They play a doubleheader on Friday (3-25) and a single game on Saturday (3-26). Admission is free at Ulmer Stadium. Saturday’s game will feature an Easter Egg hunt for kids 12 and under starting at 11 a.m. The Cards currently have 19 wins and only 6 losses. That record earned them 4 votes (4) in the ESPN.com/USA Today Division I coaches poll released on March 22.  Maryssa Becker was named ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week. The 6’0″ junior leads the team with a 1.65 ERA, 83 strikeouts, .423 batting average, seven doubles and 31 RBIs. Becker is also close to some record career numbers.

Junior Maryssa Becker is ranked among the top 10 in several career categories at Louisville. The following is a list of milestones she will reach in the near future:
• 6 walks (offensively) to tie for 10th on the career list (57)
• 6 wins to tie for 6th in career wins (42)
• 2 saves to tie for 3rd in career saves (10)
• 1 shutout to move into a tie for 8th on the career list (10)

After this Easter weekend home games vs N.C. State, the Cards go on the road for thee games starting with a trip to Bowling Green for one game against Western Kentucky University on March 30th at 6:00 p.m. Then they will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. for two games versus North Carolina on April 2nd and 3rd. Game times are 3:00p.m. (4-2) and 1:00 p.m. (4-3). Both games against UNC will be broadcast on ESPN3.

On April 6th at 5:30 p.m. the ladies travel to Lexington to take on the lady Cats.
