Dez Fitzpatrick: The One To Watch

Dez Fitzpatrick

When Dez Fitzpatrick committed at first I was elated. His game was a throwback to the AFROS I grew up watching. Has a little Deion Branch with his speed & route running and a little Lavell Boyd in him with his sure hands and ability to make difficult catches. Imagine my horror when I hear: Dez Fitzpatrick de-commits. I was hurt but I had been through it before. Brushed myself off and took to Twitter to say I was upset but wanted nothing but the best for the kid. I got a DM from his dad that said: thanks for your support & it’s not over yet. That made me feel better as a fan. Today I seen this story from the CJ’S own Steve Jones.

It’s great to see him succeed and I’m looking forward to watching him flourish on the field. Go Cards!
