For the first time since 1985, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranked teams all lost on the same day. Everyone said just wait for the chaos to happen. Well, it happened but was it so much chaos that nothing actually changed or will there be a complete shake up? Nobody knows what the next two weeks will yield and nobody really knows what the college football playoff committee is thinking. All anyone can do is speculate. It’s always fun to think what if Louisville makes the playoffs. Realistically there is still a chance but I maintain my opinion that 3 days after Louisville drops 80 points in a victory over UK, the playoff committee will leave Louisville at the #5 spot, just missing the playoffs and setting up an Orange Bowl date with a Big 10 team. I hope am wrong because I truly believe Louisville is one of the best four teams in the country. That’s my opinion and bowl projection for Louisville.
