When the spread of Wednesday’s Battle of the Bluegrass was posted in Las Vegas, Louisville was favored by 2 points despite UK being ranked higher. Since betting has begun the spread has shifted to Kentucky being a 1 point favorite. It seems that the intelligent people in Las Vegas that set the line truly believe this years Dream Game at the Yum Center will be a competitive one.
The first column is the opening number and the second column is the current consensus of all Vegas sports books.
UPDATE – Despite what multiple websites have reported, there is no line for this game in any sports books on the Las Vegas strip. I have a friend who lives there and is a frequent visitor to the sports books. He has told me that there is currently no lines posted yet as of 7:00 pm Tuesday, Louisville time.
