Rick Pitino announced today that the University of Louisville Men’s Basketball program will hold its first NBA Pro Day this fall. While a date is still up in the air, Pitino does expect to have all 30 NBA teams represented at the workout. With Adel, Spalding and Mahmoud all being on the draft radar currently, and King, Bowen and Williams expecting to get attention quickly into the season, it makes perfect sense. The Cardinals are projected to have the number 1 schedule again this year and Pitino feels this will give the young Cards an opportunity to get used to that pressure.
Pitino: "Because this team is so young, I want to see how they perform in a very intense practice" w/pro scouts. https://t.co/KhgqtNOIQu
