Leading into week 2 of the season, and the start of ACC play, we asked each member of Cardinal Sports Zone what their predictions were for the game.
Jeremy: Cards 44 UNC 24
Lamar 457 total yards, 347 passing 110 rushing

Katie Goben: 28-21 Louisville. LJ with 3 touchdowns on the day and Dez has 2 of those touchdowns. Stacy Thomas continues to dominate on d.
Nunn: Cards win 31-14. Last year on defense UNC gave up the ACC worst, 227.3 rushing yards per game. This seems like a good time to get the running game back on track.
Paige Sherrard: 28-10, Louisville. Lamar has two rushing TDs & about 440 combined yards. Dez Fitzpatrick has another standout game. James Hearns comes up with HUGE & crucial tackles.
JK: Louisville 38-28. Louisville has all the tools to make this a blowout, but will the defense have a good showing? Forcing the issue with quick footed Surratt will be tough.
Shawn Barbour: Cards 45-21. Lamar has 465 total yards. 350 passing, 115 rushing. Dez has 8 receptions
Mitch Motley: 51-20 Cards. Lamar with 5 touchdowns and Jeremy Smith establishes the run game with 100+ yards and 2 touchdowns. Lamar with 300+ passing and 100+ rushing
TJ Barr: 52-20. LJ with 4 touchdowns, 450 yards. J Pass gets his first TD
Jacob Pratt: Louisville 48 UNC 20. Lamar has 6 TD’s, 4 passing 2 rushing. Dez catches all 4 TD’s
Higgy: 35-14 UofL… Lamar has 450 yards… defense has 5 sacks
