Today was one of the hardest days in Louisville Athletics history. The decision to place Rick Pitino and Tom Jurich on leave, has not come without much backlash. Nobody is hurting more right than the current players, but the former players are not far behind. Here is what some of the former and current cards have come forward to say.

Saddened to hear the news about Tom Jurich. He was an AD who loved all athletes and wanted to see them succeed at the highest level #l1c4

Tom Jurich turned UofL into a National contender in every sport. He is also the underlying reason for who I am today. Thank you Tom!
