In the latest chapter of the Katina Powell saga, UofL has filed its official appeal against the NCAA Committee of Infractions ruling from June. The Courier Journal received these files through a public records request. UofL deems the ruling excessive especially since none of the players on the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 teams received the “benefits” Katina Powell claimed.
