Before what looked to be a sprained ankle, Ray Spalding was on a mission! 19 points, 13 boards and 5 blocks! Who knows what would have happened if he would have played the entire game. Anas added 12 points and 9 rebounds. The Cards had 6 players in total in double figure scoring (Spalding 19, Adel 13, Anas, 12, Q 11,VJ 10, Nwora 10) but it had a different feel to this game even though Louisville led wire-to-wire. It was stretched out all the way to a 22 point lead with 12:38 left in the game but SFU came back and made it a game all the way to the end. Here is what Coach Padgett and the players had to say:
