After surviving the scare Albany gave Louisville in their last game, the Cards will look to handle visiting Grand Canyon with more ease today. The game tips off at 1pm inside the Yum! Center.
Given the recent events surrounding the Louisville basketball program, it’s easy to forget about the last time these two teams played. The game was last year at Grand Canyon and the environment was crazy, the game was much closer than expected and Louisville barely walked out of there with a victory. No one can possibly forget about the famous Keonta Vernon dunk call either.
I don’t expect Louisville to have the trouble they did last year. Especially after the close game Albany gave them last time out. Louisville handles this one easily throughout.
Prediction: Louisville 81 – Grand Canyon 60.
