University of Louisville Football held its annual National Signing Day party at the Brown and Williamson club inside Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium on Wednesday. The party wasn’t as exciting this year due to the first year of the new early signing period that took place on December 20th. Louisville signed 19 of their 22 member signing class on the early signing day. So there were only 3 players that signed on the day of the party. 2 signed early in the day while 1 player signed just as the party came to a close. Coach Petrino read the text that confirmed the signing as his last words to the crowd. The atmosphere was very upbeat despite awkwardness of having 2 signing days. Several of the players that committed early are already on campus and were introduced to the crowd last night.
