The 18th school shooting of 2018 happened yesterday in Parkland, Florida. 17 people have fallen victim to this tragedy, and it has brought to everyone’s attention back to the gun violence America is facing. Donovan Mitchell took this tragedy to heart – as his mom is a school teacher. For last night’s game, he simply wrote “Pray for Parkland” and “End gun violence” on his shoes. Donovan has his stage, and he is using it the best he can.
We here at Cardinal Sports Zone continue keep the community of Parkland, Florida in our thoughts and prayers.
