On Tuesday, Junior Pitcher Megan Hensley was announced as NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) & USA Softball Collegiate National Player of The Week. She also picked up ACC Pitcher of the week. Hensley pitched all three contests against Boston College only allowing 3 runs and striking out 7 batters.
Meagan was hitting .500 average & hitting 3 home runs. She is the first athlete from Louisville since Katie Keller in 2014 to win the National Player of the Week. Then, on Wednesday Hensley was named ESPNW Player of the Week.
