There was a different energy in the air at Cardinal Stadium on Saturday. A feeling of hope and optimism. A feeling that had been missing all season. Then the game started. The crowd was loud and the team was fired up. Energy – passion – excitement – fun. Louisville held N.C. State on the game’s first possession, then drove 40 yards to take a 3-0 lead. Things started out much better this game as the Cards trailed 7-3 and the end of the 1st and 17-3 at half. Not great but there was still hope of victory. Then things reverted back to the way they had gone most of the season. State put up 5 touchdowns in the second half to the Cards 1. For a final score of 52-10.
