
I believe it’s safe to say, nobody saw this coming. WDRB is reporting that Todd Sharp has been fired as the University of Louisville Ladybirds coach.

According to Will Clark with WHAS, it seems that Todd Sharp was fired after he was caught taking an estimated $40,000 from the athletic department over a two year period. His official last day with the university was on Saturday. It is not clear at this time if he will be forced to repay the money or if charges will be pressed.
In a letter obtained from .@uofl via Open Records Request, Ladybirds Coach Todd Sharp was fired for cause December 15 for “fiscal misconduct” involving athletic dept funds.
