With the firing of Bobby Petrino and the hiring of Scott Satterfield, Aidan Robbins began to take some visits to other schools; one being BYU. He was weighing his options as Satterfield settled in and began to review tape of commits. Robbins offer was one of three Satterfield honored.

Still, Aidan had a decision to make; stay home and be the hometown hero or go away and establish his legacy elsewhere. Monday night, after all the tumult and fallout from this UofL season, Aidan Robbins announced he will sign his Letter of Intent Wednesday and become a Cardinal.

Robbins is an important recruit for Satterfield as he is the only local commit and he fills a position of need in his offense at RB. Robbins has a similar body type to a freshman RB at App State by the name of Camerun Peoples. Peoples is 6’2 195 lbs while Robbins is 6’3 205 lbs.

We broke down Robbins game after his original commitment which you can read here. His vision to see the hole, hit it quickly, and get to the second level fit what Satterfield likes from his backs. Robbins also protects the ball and doesn’t fumble; another hallmark of a Satterfield back.

Robbins grew up a UofL fan and now he will be playing for his hometown university and will hopefully help Coach Satterfield bring bowl wins and championships to the Ville.
