Offensive Line depth is desperately needed for UofL Football. Coach Scott Satterfield knows this and is making the offensive line a top priority in this 2019 recruiting cycle. He isn’t just looking for bodies, however. Satterfield is looking for quality linemen. Yesterday an OL flew into town for a visit; a high-caliber player that would not only add quality depth, but may even be able to have an instant impact.

3 Star Moultrie, GA OL Kamaar Bell is in Louisville to visit UofL. Bell is a 6’3 320 lbs mauler with offers from big time programs like Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and Florida, among others. It appears Auburn is the likely school to beat at this point.
Bell seems to be enjoying his visit so far as he attended last night’s UofL Basketball game and described it as, “litt.”

Bell is a big, bruising OL that lines up at both OG and OT. 247sports projects him as an OG. His massive size allows him to be a bulldozer in the run game, but don’t discount his athleticism and quickness. Bell can pass protect well and he is a nightmare for defenders when utilized in the run game as a pulling OG.
Kamaar Bell is a player UofL would be ecstatic to land. He has all the tools to be an All-ACC and All-American type of performer. Having Dwayne Ledford teaching him the position would only increase the likelihood of these accolades being bestowed upon him. It will be hard to beat out the likes of Auburn, Alabama, Florida State, or Florida, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility; especially since Bell himself says he is looking for a school where he thinks he can make an immediate impact.

Obviously UofL Football needs help on the offensive line desperately. We will see if he feels at home here and feels he can help immediately.
