The start of the season is almost here and so are the Irish. Now seems like a great time to go back and relive the last meeting between the Cards and the Irish. The last meeting in South Bend also happens to be the only meeting which means the Cards hold a 1-0 series lead due to their 31-28 victory. The Irish will come to Louisville as the 9th ranked team in the country and bring what I believe could very well be a top 5 offense. As a bonus  here’s some insight from our editor, Jeremy Wahman.

JW:

This game is my favorite away game that I’ve ever been to. It’s not in my top Ten (in no particular order) on the site only because we were doing this piece. The atmosphere was unreal. The environment unrivaled. The seats we had…

Amazing! I went up to this game with Steve (from 939 The Ville), Chris (the cook), and our buddy Joey. We used my Uncle’s season tickets that have been in the family for 70 years! The entire weekend was awesome. We watched the UofL Basketball game at Joey Wagner’s watch party at the Single A Baseball stadium. We watched the game on the outfield wall. It was snowing too. We got to walk around campus and see the cathedrals, TDJ, and a ton of other historical spots. It was great. The people were nice. The stadium was old. What an amazing memory.

So check out the full game below or the highlights at the bottom!
